As of the beginning of our 1999 season in NHRA Super Stock competition we were informed that in the year 2000, our class would be required to run mufflers. In our type of racing, a race can be won or lost within a few hundredths of a second. With this in mind, we know we would have to find the best muffler on the market. We were fortunately supplied with many popular brands and every manufacturer made several different promises. For instance, if we ran their muffler we would gain horsepower, we would meet the 95-decibel demand, and we would not have to make any changes to our current combination. Our only way to prove this true was to go testing. We started with the Flow Master top ten and found that it did not meet the 95-decibel demand, but the muffler performed very well. We then tried the Borla. It was considerably quieter, but we had to make changes to our combination to come close to duplicating our performance. We then went on to try several other different brands that had other drawbacks. We were almost ready to give up when we decided to try the Spin Tech Muffler. This muffler was considerably smaller in size and seemed to be significantly lighter. When we fired up the car, it seemed to have gained throttle response and had an intimidating yet quieter sound. We had previously run two 10.15 elapsed times without mufflers. After out first run with Spin Tech Mufflers were surprised to see a 10.15 ET. We made three other runs and ran within one hundredth of a second of each run. With this kind of performance, we are sold on this product. We are so excited to find out what other racers have found in off-season testing. If they have not found out about Spin Tech we will be the first to let them know. Thank you, Lonny Brasiel |

| Spin Tech, Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the Spin Tech mufflers we purchased last week.. As you know, we had tried several other NI-MA approved mufflers but still were not able to get the sound level down to 95 db. Adapting the Spin Tech mufflers to the round collectors was far easier than we imagined, shaping the collector took all of about 3 minutes plus the entire system fit up under the floor pan with room to spare. The best part was that the motor did not lose any power. First, we conducted a simple converter load test against the transbrake to see if it lost any rpm. With open headers, we got the engine up to 5500 rpm. After installing the mufflers we tried the same test and got the same results, 5500 rpm. The second test was to run the car with and without the mufflers to see if there was any loss, again we got the same results, no difference in MPH or ET. The hardest part for me is to admit that the darn thing actually sounds better with the mufflers than it did uncapped. | Hi Ron, Received my 8337S SpinTech muffler around August 9 and finally got it installed today. WOWSER... The saying on the box is true. If it sounds too good to be true... its SpinTech. When the guy at the muffler shop first saw the muffler he asked, Where did you get this thing? When he started the engine after the install, he smiled and said, this really sounds good. I looked at some of the mufflers he had there. Nothing comes close to the quality of the SpinTech. Needless to say, I am completely satisfied. | This is just a thank you note for all your help, and for a great product. The F150 GTS kit was a little challenging to install, but WELL worth it. Considering I did this on my back in the driveway, it went in nice. The sound quality is better than expected, which was GREAT, and the power gain was really noticeable. Great product, keep it up. | I have a 97 Saturn SL2,m. I wanted a muffler that is very free flowing, but also has a relatively low noise level and acceptable note. I aso did not want a muffler that looked like I had stuffed a chrome garbage can under my car, nor did I want a 6 inch tip. The ProStreet version of your muffler exceeded all my expectations. It is very compact and understated looking; built like it is going to g into battle as one of my friends said. The sound level is more than acceptable (even with a metal intake and open end conical air filter) and the note is great. The rest of my exhaust system is the stock size, and with a 1.9L. I was not expecting much of a performance increase at all, I did not loose too much low end amd at higher rpms the engine revs much more freely. Thanks for a great product. | |

| Sirs We decided to upgrade to your Cat Back side exit ehasut system on our 2001 Mustang GT and I must say that we are entirely pleased. Understatement of the year. It is a sharp looking car but when we start it up now everyone turns and looks. The engine is basically stock but sounds like it has a supercharger under the hood.When we drive it we do not even turn the stero on anymore.Nothing could sound as sweet as the exhaust. We start off and bring it up to around 3000 RPM where it growls like a P-51 Mustang. The engine sounds very smooth and throaty...It is beautiful. Then we slowly shift and go through the gears like that. I think the only music that could come close to fitting is the classical Ode to Joy. Driving this thing now is a religious experience. My son even got a thumbs up from a cop. There is a lot of custom and fast cars in the Houston area, but this one really draws the attention when we start it up. Everyone asks us what kind of mufflers are you running, and we tell them SPINTECHs. Thank you, Guy Ogan | |

I have installed the 333sc into my 1986 Fiero 3800SC II and love the sound. The is aggressive but not at all intrusive to conversation while cruising down the road. The sound of the SC whine is not drown out at all which is exactly the effect I was looking for. I had limited room for the install so the compact size is perfect. I would like to send you a clip for your web site. This is a show car that has won atleast 25 awards in the past 2 years.
I have a attached a picture of the engine install just as example of the detail I out into the total car. I selected the Spintech because I could maintain the clean install and still have good performance. Lots of others are taking the "others guys" muffler and cutting it down to fit the confined space of the Fiero but it just looks chopped up. | I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the SpinTech Pro-Street mufflers that you sold me. When I decided to put a performance exhaust system on my 2000 Ford Mustang GT, I knew right from the start that I wanted something different for my car. I researched every single muffler and Cat-back exhaust system available for my GT and I realized that even though there was a thousand different manufactures, they all produced basically the same old mufflers. I have had the chambered mufflers on several of my vehicles before, and many of my friends have tried the straight through designs with the fiberglass packing that always wears down and gets annoying. Both of those types of mufflers leave a lot to be desired in my opinion. While doing my research on the Internet I came across your website and instantly I knew I had found what I was looking for. The Spin Trap design was like nothing I had ever seen before, and the compact overall design made the competitions offerings look downright bulky. Anyhow shortly after speaking to you on the telephone, my new SpinTechs arrived and were immediately put on the car. One word is all I can use to describe the results. WOW. The sound is absolutely incredible, and the throttle response throughout the RPM range is much quicker. The Tach needle actually continues to climb when the clutch is pushed in during shifts. I have never heard anything on any car that sounds this sweet. The ProStreet muffler really combines the deep bass and thunderous roar of the 4.6L V8 perfectly. My brother recently purchased his 2000 Mustang GT that is factory equipped identical to mine. Of course, he began with the basic bolt on mods as soon as the car was home. We installed a K&N air filter, BBK underdrive pulleys, Ford Motorsports C lowering springs, and a custom burned Superchips EEC module. Once these changes were made my brother decided it was time for performance exhaust to find its way on his car. Nick had heard how good the SpinTechs sounded in my car, but it wasnt until we finally raced each other head to head that he knew that the SpinTechs were everything I told him they were. On an empty section highway, we put them to the test. My brother was very confident that his car would easily beat mine considering all his modifications and all that my car had going for it was the Pro-Street SpinTechs and a K&N air filter. We ran them four different times, and each time no matter how hard he tried he couldnt pass me. It was all the proof he needed and I believe he ordered his set of SpinTechs the next day. Congratulations on manufacturing what both my brother and I believe to be the best sounding, highest performing muffler available at the most affordable price. | Ron, I just wanted to drop you a quick note thanking you for the SpinTech muffler and install you did for me today. Although a bit hesitant at first, after driving home with this muffler I am very impressed. Having had Borla, Flowmaster and Dynomax exhaust on previous 4th gen. F bodys, I was looking for a system quieter that the Borla and Flowmaster, yet louder than the Dynomax. SpinTech is it, great exhaust note at idle, and an awesome raspy 60ish exhaust note under throttle. And the best thing, while driving home on the freeway, no exhaust note resonance. Finally the best of both worlds. Sorry if this sounds like i am trying to sell you on your own product, but I just want you to know you have a great product on hand. | Thank you so much for the best sounding car in the whole damn town. 2000 Mustang GTs sound geat to begin with, but with the installation of a stainless steel tubular X pipe along with the 3 trap mufflers, the sound is not noisy but as you people say Thunderous. My wife and I both love the increase in power as well as the overall performance. Now with this set up people are looking and asking questions and all I can say to them is you have to check out their whole line of products. Even the people at Ford where I have it serviced say that it is the best sounding stang they have had go through their shop and that is a huge compliment considering how many they service, so I know I got a top knotch quality piece of equipment. My wife and I thought that we should air our opinions for other people with mustangs to read because a mustang just is not a mustang without a Spin Tech Exhaust System. | I own a 1999 Dodge Dakota RT with the Sport Truck SUV muffler and I must say, WOW. I searched for a good 6 months for the perfect exhaust system. I wanted my exhaust to perform as good as it sounded, and it does. There are three other Dakota RTs in my area, 2 have Flowmaster 40 series and the other is stock. Mine is the best sounding one out of all of them. The guys with Flowmaster wish they would have gotten a SpinTech. The other guy with the stock RT is getting a Sportsman XL because he wants it to be a little quieter than mine. One guy with the Flowmaster has the same mods as me plus a Quick-D ported throttle body and an MSD ignition and when we raced at the strip I ran a 14.67 at 99 mph he only ran 14.80 at 98 mph. | I am running a 96 Camaro Z-28 6 speed on the street with the exhaust exiting into one 3 inch tube and expanding into a 5 inch pipe exiting straight through the left rear quarter panel just behind the left rear wheel. I have tried a Dynomax bullet race muffler, Turbo mufflers, and 2 Flowmasters. The straight thru mufflers sound like glasspacks and the Flowmaster sounded good up to 30 percent throttle but then started making a whooshing noise in the 5 inch chamber. At full throttle it just hissed since the exhaust was loosing tone into the 5 inch pipe. After 6 different mufflers, I spoke to Ron at SpinTech. I ordered a 3 inch in 3 inch out with offset on the same side Sportsman Street muffler. Ron could not understand why the Flowmaster would make such an unpleasing sound, however, assured me that if I did not like the SpinTech, I could return it. Believe it or not, the SpinTech sounded better than the Flowmaster under slight throttle and took ALL the whooshing noise out of the exhaust. That left another problem though. The muffler was too quiet. I called Ron who totally believes in customer satisfaction and if you can believe this, sent me another muffler. A race muffler that performs and sounds better than any of the other 6 mufflers I tried. Not only am I totally satisfied with the sound of the muffler, but the quality is superb. Rons commitment to customr satisfaction was truly demonstrated at SpinTech. Everything that was promised was delivered. It is the neatest muffler I have ever had on any of my street cars and is quite a conversation piece. Its rectangular design almost looks like a fuel cell when viewing the rear end of the car. It makes driving fun again. If you are looking for a great muffler with a company that provides personal service, you are missing the boat if you do not try a SpinTech. I have been a customer service manager for 15 years with a major automobile manufacturer and you very rarely get this kind of service. | |
