SPORTSMAN STREET 3000 XL SERIES

Our Sportsman Street Series is our original and most popular street muffler. 

Compact in size yet superior flow numbers. 

Sound quality is excellent, nice crisp, deep, throaty yet not annoying at cruising speed. Sound level comparisons place us quieter than a 2 chamber F.M. yet louder than a 3 with much improved interior sound levels. 

This series will work in almost any application, from 4 cylinder imports to big block trucks. Depends on your expectations and preferences to sound levels. Our oval series has the additional benefit of more ground clearance. 

As well as still being available in any offset configuration you might need. If being a little more quite is your goal we offer the Sportsman Series in an XL case, which consists of 8 spin traps instead of 6. This results in a little more mellow sound without giving up any more performance. 

Case length will be 3” longer to 16” O.A. Available in oval sizes 3” (2-1/4 x 3-1/2), 3-1/2” (2-1/2 x 4) and 4” (2-3/4 x 4-3/4), round inlets from 2” – 3-1/2”. 

All our mufflers are made of durable 16ga aluminized steel and 100% weld construction (also available in 16ga 304 S/S). 

Also some things to consider when choosing a muffler or complete system, larger pipe is not always better but it will always be louder. Tail pipe size and how many is also critical to sound levels, an example: a single 3” inlet and a dual 2-1/2” outlet will be louder than a dual 2-1/4” outlet with no difference in performance.

Our XL Series was developed to be one of our quietest mufflers. This muffler still has our unique SPINTECH sound with excellent flow rates.
